Revnator personalises outreach in two layers: variables that substitute known contact data, and AI personalisation that rewrites each message for the individual recipient at send time.
Variables are tokens that are replaced with a contact's data when the email sends — name, company, job title, and other fields. Use the variable picker while writing a subject or body to insert them. Variables are resolved first, so the AI sees the already-substituted text.
Each email step has an AI Personalise section. Turn it on and the step is rewritten for every contact individually when it sends, using their name, company, title, notes, lead status, and the history of previous sends in that sequence.
The AI Personalise section includes a tone selector. The available tones are:
You can also add free-text AI instructions, up to 200 characters, to steer the rewrite — for example "mention their recent funding round".
Under any step's subject field, "✨ Optimize subject" generates three alternative subject lines. Click one to use it. Steps with AI personalisation on are marked with a ✨ AI badge in the builder.
If an AI call fails for any reason, the step falls back to the original template text and still sends — personalisation never blocks outreach. Sends record whether they were AI-personalised so you can compare performance.
