A sequence is a repeatable outreach play. This page covers building one in the sequence builder, the step types available, and the settings that control how it sends.
Email → Sequences → New sequence opens the builder, a two-panel screen: settings on the left, the visual step editor on the right. Add steps, reorder them, and edit each one in place.
When creating a new sequence, use "✨ Generate with AI" in the builder header. Provide a goal, audience, step count, tone, and a differentiator, and Revnator drafts every step — subjects, bodies, and delays — for you to review and edit.
Each step has a delay — a number plus a unit of hours, days, or weeks — measured from the previous step. Email steps also have a thread mode: New thread starts a fresh email, while Same thread sends as a reply on the existing conversation with an "Re:" subject.
Add contacts to a sequence with the enrol modal. It supports search and list selection and automatically excludes contacts who are already enrolled or who have unsubscribed. Step one is scheduled to fire on the next send cycle.
