The bulk-import tool brings your existing contacts into Revnator from a spreadsheet. It runs as a four-step wizard that handles column mapping, duplicate handling, and validation for you.
Export your contacts as a CSV file with a header row. Each contact needs at least an email address. UTF-8 encoding avoids garbled characters. A typical file looks like this:
1name,email,company,job_title,phone,country,lead_status2Jane Smith,jane@acme.com,Acme Corp,VP Sales,+1-555-0101,United States,New3John Doe,john@globex.com,Globex Inc,Head of Growth,+1-555-0202,Canada,Qualified
Go to Contacts → Import and upload your CSV file. The wizard reads the header row and previews the first few rows so you can confirm it parsed correctly.
Match each column in your file to a Revnator contact field. Common headers like Email, Name, and Company are detected automatically — review the mappings and correct anything that is wrong. A column that does not match a built-in field can be mapped to a custom field.
Choose how the import behaves: how to handle rows whose email already exists in your workspace, and optionally a list to add every imported contact to. To merge new data into existing records rather than skip them, enable "Update existing contacts".
Start the import and watch the progress bar. When it finishes you get a summary of how many contacts were created, updated, and skipped.
